October 10, 1969 First All Japan Charted Contest held at Budokan
October 9, 1970 JKF join World Karate Federation (WKF)
March 29, 1972 JKF join Japan Physical Education Association
September 23 to 24, 1978 Participate in National Sports Tournament demonstrations at Nagano
September 13 to 16, 1981 Karate-Do made an official part of the national Sport Tournament at Shiga
October 3, 1999 WKF approved as official recognition group of International Olympic Committee (IOC)
August 3, 2001 JKF hold the fist all Japan boys' and girls' karatedo championship at Tokyo-Budokan
