| About the video control panel |
|
① |
(pause) (play) |
Pause (temporary stop) and play button. When play button is pressed during the pause, the content from which it has stopped will restart. |

|
Stop bottom.
This will stop to play the contents. When play bottom is pushed after stopping, it will start playing from the beginning. |
③ |
|
By sliding this bar left and right, you can forward and rewind the video. However, this function is only available for downloaded content only. |

| Search method |
| 1) Enter a keyword of the searching content in the keyword column and click on the [Content Search]button on the right side. |
|
| 2) Search result will be displayed. |
|
| 3)Click on the [Details]in the [View]column and the content video will start to play. |
|
|
| Favorite |
1) The favorite list allows to save the favorite program to watch it repeatedly.
In order to designate to favorite, click on the [Favorite]button that will be displayed after a while the program starts
and then it will be added to the favorite list. |

|
2) In order to display the programs in the favorite list, click on displayed [Favorite]. |
|
3) The programs in the favorite list will be displayed.
To view, click on [Play]and the program will start. |

| Reservation |
1) In Karate TV, the content will start playing when it is clicked on.
However, the reservation function is helpful where internet speed is slow or when the video can’t be viewed smoothly.
Prepare to designate the interested program.
Then the designated video will be downloaded to the user’s computer, ready to be viewed regardless to the internet speed and smoothly viewed.
When making a reservation, click on [Reservation]and check the box.

| 2) Click on the interested content while there is a check in the [Reservation] button. |

3) The following confirmation screen will be displayed and click on the [OK] button.
For multiple programs to reserve, repeat this task. |
|
4) After designating the reserved programs, click on the [Reservation] button again to deactivate reservation.
Reserved program will start downloading at the same time of deactivation. |
|
5) During download, other tasks will not be functioning.
If you try a task, there will be a display explaining that it is downloading a reserved program.
After all designated download is completer, the tasks will be operating normally again.
*During download, if you log off or click on the close button, the download will be aborted. |

| Deleting video file |
In Media Express, all viewed contents will be saved in the hard disc of the computer.
For this reason, to repeat viewing, the content can be viewed again by just logging in and verifying user without almost any load on the internet speed.
However, the hard disc space will be minimized as the data will remain in the hard disc.
There are 2 methods to delete the saved data.
1) The method to delete the file currently in view.
While viewing, the file will be deleted by moving the mouse cursor to the bottom left and click on the left button.
In case the file is saved in the hard disc, there will be a ◎ sign after the program name.
In all other cases, the current saved % will be displayed and as long as it is not displayed 100% (or ◎), it will not be saved in the hard disc. |

2) The method to delete total files within the channel.
Move the mouse cursor to the left bottom side of the screen to Start.
Click on the right button and put the cursor on explorer from the pull down menu.
Then click the left button of the mouse.
Explorer will start up and search for a folder name “gmxtv”.
In this folder, there is a “tmp” folder and in it, there is the TV name browsed. (Registered TV name karate-wdoc)
Put the cursor on the file with the channel name which the data is to be deleted.
Click on the right button and the pull down menu will be displayed.
Place the cursor on [Delete]and click the left button to delete the total program data in the channel.
*Deleted data will be moved to the Recycle bin.
If the data is deleted form the Recycle bin, then it is deleted from the hard disc. |

Setting method for calling the control panel and setup menu |
|
1) Click on the right button above [Media Manager] which is in the middle down of Media Express. |
|
2) The Media Express control system screen will be displayed.
After amending the settings, click on the [Register] button. |

Archived drive |
When saving the content, designate the hard disc. The default setting has fixed to C drive. |

Loop playback |
When the airing of the content ends, it will be in the mode to play the same content again. |

Display Control Panel |
The control panel for the video will be displayed with the left button click. With the control panel, functions such as pause, forward and reverse are available. However, these controls are only valid for contents that have been downloaded. |

Language |
Designate the language to display the control panel. It is supported by 3 languages, which are Japanese, English and Korean. |

Storage period (time) |
Designate the storage period and time of the downloaded video data. For example, if fixed for 720 hours (30 days), when the setting time passes, the video data will be deleted automatically. |
⑥ |
Pre-load (K byte) |
Upon receiving, designate in advance the site to save.
In case the internet speed is fast, by decreasing the size, the video will play instantly (For example, 300KB).
On the other hand, in an environment where the internet speed is slow, due to lack of time to transfer the data,
the video will have a phenomenal to start from the beginning over again.
In this case, by increasing the size, although it may take time to start, the video can be watched smoothly even with slow internet speed.
It depends on the internet speed but please designate numbers such as 6000 and 10000.
